Dan Grady

Candidate for Planning &

Dan and his wife Alesia moved to Hebron in 2012 and have lived in CT towns intermittently for about 12 years.

Dan has worked in the aerospace industry for over 35 years as an engineer and program manager, with a Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering from Florida Atlantic University and an M.B.A from the University of Miami, and holds a professional credential as a Project Management Professional.  He is currently the Associate Director for Unmanned Systems at Pratt & Whitney, and has managed multi-million dollar projects in the industry as well as construction of a manufacturing facility overseas in Greece.

He has experienced the impacts of community planning from both the industry and local perspective, including numerous construction projects such as designing and building his family’s home in Florida.

Dan’s interest in Planning and Zoning focuses on the long-term impact of those commission decisions, as well as achieving a balance between the quality of our lives and the taxes we all pay to achieve that.

He is committed to environmental responsibility and green space allocations but respects the impact of these factors on fellow residents.
