Erica Bromley

Chair: Hebron Board of

My name is Erica Bromley and I am running for the Hebron Board of Education.  I have been on the Board of Education for the past 4 years, and am looking to be re-elected to this important Board. I am the mother of an amazing son, a current 5th grader at Hebron Elementary.  He has attended Hebron schools since Kindergarten. My husband and I moved to Hebron over 14 years ago. We moved to this community because of the schools (in anticipation of someday starting a family) and because the sense of community was so strong.

I received a Bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Education from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in upstate NY and a Master’s Degree from Springfield College. After receiving my Master’s Degree in Social Work, I became the Director of the Windsor Locks Youth Service Bureau and stayed for over 6 years.  I then transitioned to the city of Manchester into the same position.  I was the Director there for 10 years.  In 2014, I took a leap of faith and decided to create my own consulting company, KADE Consulting, focusing on youth work.  I am thrilled to continue doing work related to Juvenile Justice policy, planning, and advocacy, as well as grants management. My heart is with youth and my expertise has grown exponentially over the years. My experience working at the state level with legislators, with policy and legislation creation, committee involvement, and my close relationship with the Department of Education, makes me a perfect fit for this role. I am proud of the work I have accomplished over the last 4 years on the Hebron Board of Education, and especially during the last two years serving as its Chair.  It is a critical role that I have grown to love.

I am invested in this community, have given much of my time and energy to it, and want to continue serving.  I understand the importance of community involvement in shaping our town and am eager to help lead in its success. I appreciate your continued support and look forward to what the future brings!
